What's happening, my friend? You're in the mix with Mr. Chris for a SWEET podcast of The Soul Brother Show - The Home of Heavy Soul and Raw Funk! For as far back as I can remember, I have been a sincere fan of the legendary band Mother's Finest. Giving us such classics as "Love Changes," "Fire," and "Baby Love," this powerhouse of a band from Atlanta, Georgia has kicked ass and taken lots of names since stepping onto the scene with their 1972 self-titled debut and I have always set my sights on talking to lead singer Joyce Kennedy, one of my musical inspirations. Joyce is the epitome of a bold soul sister and I can't begin to tell you how thrilled I am to present to you an in-depth interview with this amazing lady! Along with some new music from Nona Hendryx, Imani Coppola, and Corey Glover, you're in for a special treat as Joyce talks about her illustrious career! As always, sit back, and enjoy!
